Every new ache and pain brings me to the realization that I’m not getting any younger. After recently pulling a neck muscle, I headed to Amazon in a search for relief.
There’s a plethora of neck massaging devices on Amazon, but I was drawn to this for two reasons:
- Rechargeable battery: I like to not be confined near an outlet. While this massager does require a special AC adapter (it’s a barrel connector; not Micro USB or USB-C), the ability to walk around while massaging my neck is a huge plus! I have not yet let the battery go dead (you should charge lithium ion batteries before they completely die), but I’ve gotten at least four 15-minute sessions from the battery before charging.
- Velcro straps that wrap behind my waist: While the arm slings are great for holding the neck massager against my neck, it limits what I can do with my hands. There are two velcro straps on this massager that allows me to secure it behind my waist, so I can walk around or sit at a computer while getting massaged!
