YouTube TV is set to compete again services like Sling TV and PlayStation Vue.  How does it compare?

Here’s a quick rundown:

  • The service will cost $35 per month for 6 profiles and 3 concurrent streams (although, it’s not clear if all 3 streams must be from one IP address).
  • It will feature over 40 TV networks (click to enlarge).
  • It will feature an unlimited cloud DVR (but recordings will expire after 9 months).
  • For now, it looks like only the Chromecast will be supported at launch. There were no details given for support of other TV-connected devices.  Android and iOS support will be coming.
