You can never have too many charging cables and with the iXCC 2-pack, you can pick up 2 Lightning cables for less than the cost of 1 Apple OEM Lightning cable.

Charge Connectivity

These cables allows a full 2.4 amp charge. During testing, I did not notice any resistance in the power transfer. Some lower-quality cables can reduce charging speed due to their inability to transfer a full 2.4 amp charge.

Data Connectivity

In addition to charging, these cables can be used to connect your iPhone to your laptop and back it up with iTunes. I did not notice any issues while syncing data with these cables.

Durability

These cables does not feature a nylon covering which may decrease durability somewhat. However, the cord is thicker than the OEM Apple Lightning cable (see image below).

Warranty

[caption id=“attachment_2933” align=“alignright” width=“300”] Compared to the OEM Apple Lightning cable, the iXCC is thicker.[/caption]

iXCC gives a generous 2 year warranty on their cables that even covers wear and tear. The only thing that would score this higher would be a lifetime warranty, but I’ve found that if a cable is going to fail, it typically happens within the first year.

Our Verdict
