The Inateck 60W USB-C Power Delivery wall charger gives you high-powered charging at a fraction of the size of a typical laptop charging brick. As more devices begin to adopt the USB-C standard, we’ll finally start seeing chargers that can charge just about anything.
Design
The Inateck Power Delivery Charger features foldable prongs which makes it ideal for travel. It is somewhat larger than a typical USB wall charger and it has a big of weight to it, but it is definitely smaller than most laptop chargers. The dimensions are 2.82 x 1.16 x 2.24 in and weighs 5.6 ounces.
Performance
I tested the charger with a wide variety of devices and the charger adapts its output accordingly. I did not notice any issues while using the charger.
Dell Latitude 5580 Laptop
First up was a Dell 5580 laptop. Although the laptop complained that I’m “only” using a 60W charger and not the standard 65W charger, I still found that the laptop would charge it’s internal battery while in use and the Inateck USB-C charger was a fine replacement for the much larger charging brick that came with the laptop. Under heavy loads (launching multiple apps at the same time), I found the laptop was pulling 20V 2A or about 40W from the Inateck charger, so the laptop did not even use the charger to its full capability.

Acer R13 Chromebook
Next up was the Acer R13 Chromebook and it charged along happily at 15V 2A without a problem. I was surprised by this because it has refused to charge with other USB-C Power Delivery chargers I’ve tested.
Nintendo Switch
The Nintendo Switch requires 15V to charge, and the Inateck charger happily supplies it as I found out with the Chromebook. This makes the Inateck an ideal travel charger for the Switch as it will allow you to charge it at full speed.
Nintendo Switch Pro Controller
I’ve never seen the Pro Controller charge with more than 5V 0.5A with other chargers, and the Inateck charger was able to adapt and supply that (measly) power output.
Features
The Inateck charger comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable, so there’s no need to buy one separately. However, if you’re planning to use it to charge an iPhone, you will need to purchase Apple’s USB-C-to-Lightning cable.
The USB-C cable also comes with a much-appreciated Velcro cable tie, helping to keep things tidy.
Safety
Unfortunately, I couldn’t locate a UL-listed certification on this Inateck charger. However, it does have the ETL listed mark. The charger does become warm while in use, but no hotter than the charger for my MacBook.
Our Verdict
The Inateck USB-C Power Delivery charger works with a wide variety of devices such as Mac and PC laptops, the Nintendo Switch and cell phones.
