The Elago MS2 is a silicone stand made to hold your Apple MagSafe charging puck (not included) at an angle. I found it’s ideal for my desk as it holds my iPhone 12 Pro Max at a comfortable reading angle and Face ID seems to work most of the time even if I’m not facing it face on. The stand has a little extra room for where the cord connects to the charging puck, so it is not bent at an angle.
The one main drawback of the Elago MS2 Charging Stand is that there is not much weight to it, so picking your phone brings the stand with it. I’ve found that sliding my phone off to the side seems to work best.
However, before getting the Elago MS2, I simply set my iPhone flat on the desk, so it is nice to have something that allows the phone to face me and make it easier to grab.

It’s important to note that the Elago MS2 Charging Stand will not fit 3rd-party magnetic charging pucks. Only the official Apple MagSafe charger will fit, and it is not included with the unit.
Our Verdict
The Elago MS2 Charging Stand is more atheistically pleasing than simply setting your iPhone on your desk. However, at a regular price over $20, one would expect the stand to be weighted so it stays in place when you remove your phone.
